The film is part of the cycle of CINEMA INÈDIT, which regularly programs the Cambrils room, of those films and documentaries that are not released commercially in other cinemas in Tarragona.

The film brings us closer to THE POGUES and its founder Shane MacGowan, one of the most iconic and special musical groups of the 80s and 90s.

THE POGUES is a group that mixes punk music with traditional Irish. Originally called POGUE MAHONE (Kiss me in the ass), his label managed to file him to leave THE POGUES.

The film was directed by well-known documentary filmmaker Julien Temple and includes a very special work with animations by illustrator Ralfh Steadman. The production is by his friend, the actor Johnny Depp.

The documentary won the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastián’20 Festival
